DFA CLUB NEWS:
Remember to turn your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night before going to bed.
It’s time to “Fall” back one hour on Sunday, November 6th.
DFA will be open on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11.
If you will not be coming for your lesson, please let me know.
DFA will be closed on Thursday, November 24, Thanksgiving day and Friday, November 25.
There will be Saturday sparring on November 26.
SPECIAL EVENT:
The Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade was on Sunday, October 30th, and we were in it!
After three years of not participating due to Covid, we were once again back on the streets of El Paseo fencing and waving to the crowd! We had our largest number of DFA fencers participating, 23 fencers in all!
David Greene carried our banner. The Saber fencers were: Collin & Ian Amick, Cassius Crover, Xavier Johns, Matthew Kreps, Gil Maruvada, Ava Mayberry, Nick Richardson, Abby, Aiden & Arianna Stockton and Peter Zappia.
The Epee fencers were: Reese Frenter, Maserati Hann, Caleb & Levi Kassinove, Nathan Park & Daniel Kang, Cole Robinson and Jake Weber.
